Rye Radiology is best known for expert digital mammography breast cancer screening, breast ultrasound, as well as, breast MRI, including procedures such as stereotactic breast biopsy, MRI guided breast biopsy, breast ultrasound core biopsy and pre-operative needle localization.
Although state of the art equipment is important, the skill and experience of the physician interpreting the images is even more critical. Rye Radiology has, in addition to state of the art equipment, Dr. Diane LoRusso, co-founder of Rye Radiology Associates, LLP and Dr. Gail Calamari, partner and neuroradiologist, who have more than 50 years of combined experience interpreting mammography, breast ultrasound and breast biopsies with image guidance, specializing in high risk patients.
Rye Radiology’s doctors also perform general diagnostic imaging exams, including general MRI’s (neurological, orthopedic, abdominal, vascular), general ultrasound, CAT scans, bone density exams and plain x-rays.
